Lacrosse in Guatemala began in 2005 at the Guatemala City garbage dump. Since then, it has expanded to rural communities and to other very challenging urban communities. It is not easy for us to keep it all moving forward. There are many challenges in those communities. We hope that the world of lacrosse can help these youth build a brighter future for themselves and for their communities.
